IBIS Technology & Adventium Technology Connect Via the WebsiteTravel Global Marketplace
MELBOURNE, Australia – 19th November 2019 – Adventium, the technology of travel, today announced a strategic partnership with IBIS Technology to connect IBIS Reservations API to the WebsiteTravel Global Marketplace API.
The IBIS Technology Platform is used by many of New Zealand’s premier tour and activity operators and is the system powering New Zealand’s i-Site network. This integration will give resellers connected to WebsiteTravel live availability and instant bookings with tour, activity and transport operators using the IBIS Technology platform.
WebsiteTravel is the engine room behind TravelDesk, MySites and the OTA API housing over 20,000 listings and connecting over 20 APIs with partners such as Siteminder, Rezdy, Virgin Australia, Fly365, Cloudbeds and now IBIS Technology. The WebsiteTravel system processes hundreds of thousands of transactions a week.
“This development is another important strategic partnership in our portfolio,” said Adventium Technology’s Director of Operations and Strategic Partnerships, Selina Kelly. “It will grow Adventium Technology’s global connectivity and will ultimately strengthen selling capacity for WebsiteTravel agents and TravelDesk users whilst streamlining operations for thousands of operators worldwide.”
IBIS clients will now benefit from instant booking confirmation and distribution through the 600 strong WebsiteTravel global agent network, whilst the WebsiteTravel agent network gains access to IBIS Operators at the touch of a button.
“IBIS is excited to add WebsiteTravel to its list of strategic partners that add value and reduce transactional friction,” said Erik Bradshaw, Director of IBIS. “Our clients operate in a competitive marketplace that increasingly depends on digital connections to meet the consumer’s demand for efficient travel bookings services.”
